Pauntley Press is the publishing imprint of Ford & Mason Ltd. In 2001 and 2002 we published our first two titles, written by Catherine Mason (one of our directors).
The paperback edition of Catherine's first book, VEG, is still in print and is still available.
The hardback edition of Vegetable Heaven received much critical aclaim and sold out early in 2005. In 2006 Grub Street Publishing bought the rights to a paperback edition, which was published in June 2006 at £12.99.

Both books had very good reviews (Nigel Slater, writing in the Observer, described Catherine's cooking as ‘bold, sassy and sophisticated’) and have been very popular with our readers. However we found that selling through the book trade was not profitable and therefore have decided not to publish any more titles at the moment.
